Jeff and Cameron were the guys who helped him at GoEngineer in California. Has anyone looked in to what it might cost to have them or other similar companies reproduce some of the plastic fidly bits our cars need that seem hard to find or ridiculously priced? The plastic inserts for the top comes to mind and I'm sure there are plenty others. Just curious.. I better hurry up and sell all my stash of these...lol...jimWeezy Not sure if this has been discussed, but was watching Wheeler Dealers tonight and the guys needed a sunroof clip for a car they were working on where the parts for the car have become scarce. The parts were 3-D Printed and according to Mike on the show, "these bits only cost a few bucks" Dano I am working on clips for the latches of the convertible top. If it all comes out well, I will also be printing them in colors as well as black...stay tuned! Weezy Are you 3-d printing them? What do you figure end cost will be for those who need them? VinceM I saw that show. At the end when they figure out what the car owes them I believe he listed the 3D parts at $126. 3D printing works for plastic parts as far as I seen. Weezy I got distracted during that part, but def. good to know. It looked like they only did two parts, so if that was all, then $63 each. Still not horrible but if they did larger quantities, bet that price would come down quote:

Dano Yes, they will be 3D printed. I'm having a CAD operator creating the files for me and he is almost finished. I've seen his work and it is amazing. 401KAT quote:
